12 Hallmarks of the Spiritually Advanced Being are.........

12 Hallmarks of the Spiritually Advanced Being are...
#1: LOVE - The Spiritually Advanced are models of unconditional LOVE
In the words of the Bible ("New Testament 1Corinthians 13"), "love is always patient and kind. Love knows neither envy nor jealousy. Love is not proud or conceited. Love does not behave unbecomingly, nor seek to glorify herself, nor blaze out in passionate anger, nor brood over wrongs. Love finds no pleasure in injustice done to others, but joyfully sides with the truth. She knows how to be silent. She is full of trust, full of hope, full of patient endurance. Love never fails". To this, I would only add that that spiritually advanced are also full of forgiveness, tolerance, and compassion for all living things.
The truth of sex is that:
"A person's approach to sexuality is a sign of their level of evolution.
Unevolved persons practice ordinary sexual intercourse placing all attention upon the sexual organs, they neglect the body's other organs and systems so that whatever physical energy is accumulated is summarily discharged the subtle energies are dissipated and disordered. It is a great leap backward.
For those who aspire to the higher realms of living, there is an angelic dual cultivation because every portion of the body, mind, and spirit (down to the cellular level) yearns for the integration of yin and yang angelic intercourse is lead by the spirit rather than the sexual organs.
Where ordinary sexual intercourse is full of effort,
........ angelic intercourse is calm, relaxed, quiet, and natural.
Where ordinary sexual intercourse unites sex organs with sex organs,
........ angelic intercourse unites body with body, mind with mind, spirit with spirit.
Ending not in dissolution but in integration, angelic intercourse is an opportunity for a man and a woman to mutually transform and uplift each other
........ into the realm of bliss and wholeness".
NOW the CURE: How You Too Can Be Touched by Angelic Intercourse
It all begins with friendship "to have a friend, you have to be a friend". And so "to get more love, you need to be more love". You need to be more love - if not to all humanity - than to your sexual partner. The truth is sexual intercourse is the icing on the cake of relationship. The icing only tastes as good as the cake underneath it. In other words, it is the love in the relationship - outside of sexual intimacy - that determines the heights to which sexual intercourse between the partners can reach.
So if you want a better sex life, stop focusing on it...
Start learning how to add love to your daily routine. Speak many words of love. Give a small gift when it's not a special occasion. Do something for your partner that they really want done (especially if they know you do not want to do it!). Come home a bit early and spend some quality time with your partner. Kiss and hug your partner often. Come to see your partner as your soulmate. Let the two become one and you too will be touched by an angel.

"A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."
   - Richard Bach, about his courtship with Leslie Parrish

"[You] will I know who [your] soul mate is... by taking risks... by risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end."
   - Paul Coelho

"...losing through you what seemed myself, i find selves unimaginably mine; beyond sorrow's own joys and hopings very fears yours is the light by which my spirit's born: yours is the darkness of my soul's return... you are my sun, my moon, and all my stars."
   - e. e. cummings

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit. That’s what everyone wants. A true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the one who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."
   - Elizabeth Gilbert, "Eat, Pray, Love"

"In any soul mate relationship, you will need to let go of the illusion that there is a perfect person waiting for you who will fulfill your every expectation and give your personality everything it desires once you are together. Do not expect your ideal soul mate to be someone who is always loving and easy to get along with, who agrees with everything you say or do, and who brings you a life of ease/comfort."
   - Sanaya Roman, "Soul Love: Awakening Your Heart Centers"

Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more."
   - Erica Jong

"Our soul... direct[s] us to individuals who share our purpose in life, complement our strengths, and supplement our weaknesses. But there is no guarantee that these ideal mates are going to look the way we expect, or be of our own background."
   - Carolyn Miller

"A soulmate is the one person whose love is powerful enough to motivate you to meet your soul, to do the emotional work of self-discovery, of awakening."
   - Kenny Loggins

"A soul mate represents a karmic relationship that we have resolved: a deep conflict that has been settled, an obligation that has been fulfilled, and love that has replaced fear and anger."
   - Linda M. Brady, "Discovering your Soul Mission"

Petrol bombs, stun grenades and tear gas thrown during clashes in Athens
  • Government aims to sell off casinos, marinas and former Olympics venues to service debt
  • Greece could require second bail out of 60billion euros
  • Demonstrations against harsh austerity measure boil over into riots

Marinas, casinos and former Olympic venues could be up for grabs after Greece announced a massive fire sale to help service its debt.
The Greek government said it was putting vast areas of state-owned land on the market to raise £44billion in the next four years.
Nationalised companies could also be privatised to help raise the necessary capital to ensure it does not default on debt payments.

Heathrow Bolt of lightning

It was an awesome example of nature’s power on a stormy night in London.
As this flight came into Heathrow, a jagged bolt of lightning smashed into the roof, right above the pilots’ heads.
The powerful jolt of electricity passed right through the body of the Airbus A380 before shooting out to continue its journey to the ground.

Amazingly, the Emirates service from Dubai landed safely minutes later, with not even a scratch and its 500 passengers and crew unscathed.
This incredible image was captured on a Saturday night last month by photographer Chris Dawson in south-west London.
‘I saw the storm clouds gathering and I thought the conditions would be perfect for a lightning strike,’ he said.

Diana death photo in Cannes doc - When will she rest in peace???

CANNES -- An unseen and unwanted British documentary is generating a firestorm before it comes to Cannes on Friday, mostly because it reportedly showcases a grisly photo of Princess Diana inside the vehicle in the Paris car crash that claimed her life on Aug. 31, 1997.
But the real controversy that should be raging is what actor-filmmaker Keith Allen presents as near-fact in Unlawful Killing: That the British establishment, including the Royal Family, arranged her murder.
Also controversial is the way Allen's team is exploiting Cannes. People are assuming the doc is in an official film festival program. It is not. Instead, Allen & company are screening Unlawful Killing in the Cannes Marche, an unregulated marketplace where anyone can show anything, short of hardcore porn, if they buy time in a Cannes theatre. Audiences are allowed in by invitation.
Marketplace screenings are normally set up to help sell movies to distributors. In this case, Allen's goal seems to be to generate publicity, most of it negative so far. Allen is a well-known British comedian and actor. He played the Sheriff of Nottingham in the recent BBC series Robin Hood.
But he also spent the past three years sorting through evidence from the inquest into Diana's death and doing interviews. His film title comes from the ruling in that inquest, a British legal result that establishes that persons unknown are criminally responsible for a death.
Watching the lurid trailer and excerpts online will quickly convince viewers that Allen is pinning the blame on the Royals, their aristocratic circle and operatives in the British secret service. "Presidents have been killed for less," the narrator says after commentators establish how Diana was "trouble" for the Royal Family.
British journalist and novelist Noel Botham, who wrote a book called The Murder of Princess Diana, says it again in the film. "There can be no doubt she was actually murdered," he says. British broadcaster Piers Morgan is also featured, spinning accusations about British spies. "We've all been to James Bond movies, thanks," he says sarcastically. "We know the secret services do a lot of dark stuff."

Wounded Social Network

Chiron Bids Adieu To Aquarius: The Wounded Social Network

[ 2 ]February 8, 2011 | Sherene Schostak
“In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs it is the rule.”
– Nietzsche
What is Chiron? An asteroid, and a pain in the ass mythological figure also known as “the wounded healer.” Chiron bids farewell to the constellation of Aquarius after spending seven years (Feb. 21, 2005 and Feb. 8, 2011) triggering every social, group and friendship wound we’ve ever felt. The Chiron in Aquarius finale packed a series of punches on the collective since 2005. Sorting out the needs of the group versus the needs of the individual is never a simple affair.
Do we lose ourselves in groups — devolving into sheep, girls gone wild or conformists? Or do groups inspire, give us strength in numbers and sense of belonging, and unify us around a kindred theme? Are we prone to the horrible disease of “group think” where we suddenly lose the ability to make rational, individually informed decisions? Or do we succumb to the lowest vibration or caveman denominator in our midst? We’re no strangers to group contagion, the stupidity of trends and “Lord of the Flies.” Chiron in Aquarius at its worst: Super Bowl Sunday and Facebook.
“Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer …”
In our social circles, networks and other such collectives, the shadows of competition, rivalry, backstabbing and envy often loom heavy. During the final days of Chiron in Aquarius we would expect to see these issues to reach a fever pitch. Chiron in Aquarius has been dubbed the “wounded community.” Where have our associations with groups, families, and bigger collectives been healing? Where have they only served to open up old wounds?
Usually it’s a combination of both, but with Chiron transits there’s the feeling of pouring salt into the wound in order to bring our attention to it. Aquarius rules our friendships, so it’s not surprising to hear people lamenting, “I don’t know who my real friends are anymore” or “Who can I trust?” Chiron in Aquarius taught us that true friends are precious, extremely rare and perhaps a dying breed.
Look to the placement of Chiron in your natal horoscope to see where your psyche contains the deepest wounding from childhood and consequently needs the most healing. But this is the kind of healing that one must give to oneself. Only through our own efforts, life experience and wisdom gained can we heal the depth of our Chiron wounds.
The lessons typically culminate in some sort of integrated fashion around the age of fifty during the Chiron Return provided we’ve done the work. Every seven years we have the opportunity to work an another layer of healing, similar to Saturn cycles. With Chiron in Aquarius, we were given the opportunity to honor and hopefully embrace our unique, eccentric, rebellious qualities despite the pain of earlier experiences of not fitting in, or feeling like a freak for being different.

“If you can’t take me at my worst, you most certainly don’t deserve me at my best.” – Marilyn Monroe, Venus in Aries

We’re emotional illiterates. We’ve been taught about anatomy and farming methods in Africa. We’ve learned mathematical formulas by heart. But we haven’t been taught a thing about our souls. We’re tremendously ignorant about what makes people tick.

We’re pitiful, self-indulgent cowards that can’t connect with reality and are ashamed of ourselves. You can say anything about anyone. Somehow it always fits.

It’s ignorant to think we ever know what is going on in someone else’s head
I don’t believe people are strong all on their own. You have to have someone’s hand to hold

Neptune in Pisces

So welcome to Neptune in Pisces. Your willingness to open your consciousness & not understand it all logically, at least at first, may determine how well you survive a transit of Neptune in Pisces to your personal planets. Collectively, every passage of Neptune in Pisces has shown a surge in spiritual pursuits. I can imagine that it’s time to rediscover a lost horizon within our self. Be willing to ask, to receive, to let go and to wait. It will take vision. Neptune in Pisces offers that vision, and that faith.
Watch this trailer for Frank Capra’s movie Lost Horizon which beautifully epitomizes the yearning of Neptune in Pisces: “I’m sure there’s a wish for Shangri-La in everyone’s heart. I’ve never seen the outside world, but I understand there are millions of people who are supposed to be mean and greedy. And I just know secretly they’re all hoping to find a garden spot where there’s peace, security, beauty and comfort, where they wouldn’t have to be mean & greedy…”

This 1973 retelling of the classic tale of James Hilton's Utopian lost world plays out as a musical production complete with Bacharach pop music. While escaping war-torn China, a group of Europeans crash in the Himalayas, where they are rescued and taken to the mysterious Valley of the Blue Moon, Shangri-La. Hidden from the rest of the world, Shangri-La is a haven of peace and tranquility for world-weary diplomat Richard Conway(Peter Finch). Here there is no crime, no war, no sickness, no pollution, no sadness and a lifetime may be in the 100s of years. His ambitious brother, George(Michael York), sees it as a prison from which he must escape, even if it means risking his life and bringing destruction to the ancient culture of Shangri-La.

Eurovision 2011 GO GREECE GO !!

I was born so betrayed, who am I - what I'll be?
What is mine in this life? Just the heaven and sea
No I won't give them up, they're my fortune, my proof
Don't believe what you hear, cause their truth kills the truth

The duty I've got is my war against fear
and I want you with me, I want you so near
Watch my dance Head up high Hands like wings and I'll fly

I have heard many words but I still won’t forget
the language of my body the sound my heart makes
so I'm staying alive and my losses won’t let
my soul to surrender, the power of loss is my bet
Watch my dance Head up high Hands like wings and I'll fly

The Greeks Of Armenia

This website running is my second project dedicated to Greeks of Armenia. In the spring of 2011 we are planning to open an exhibition dedicated to all Greek mothers in loving memory of my Pontic Greek mother Nina Lazareva (Lazaridou). She was born in  Madan village (Northern Armenia).  The photo collection includes images of almost all Greek settlements of Armenia.
My first ethnographic photographic exhibition was opened at the Consular Office of the Greek Embassy in Yerevan on the 27th of November, 2009.

Evangelos Koumbis

Evangelos was born in Preveza (northwestern part of Greece) in 1951 and lives now in Thessaloniki. He is Lt Gen (retired) and holds a low degree from the University of Athens.

His interest in art emerged from the very early age as a pupil in the elementary school but should have passed decades after fount time and the opportunity to meet very gifted painters in Tsessaloniki who inspired and initiated him painting . Since then on he developed a voracious appetite visiting art museums, galleries, studing and practicing art . Later on in 2003 he took courses in oil and water color painting in the University of South Florida (USF) USA and until now has attended numerous workshops in Greece and abroad since he believes that art is education for life
.
He prefers an impressionist loose style with bold color brushstrokes and his paintings embrace a range of subjects , most prominently

Greece could leave the euro

Greece could leave the euro, according to media reports. The country is said to have raised the possibility of exiting the European single currency in discussions with the EU commission and other member states, Germany's Spiegal online says.
Euro zone finance ministers were also reported to be holding emergency meetings in Luxembourg on Friday to discuss the Greek crisis. But, Berlin has been quick to counter the internet magazine's claims, insisting ''An exit is not planned and was not planned.''

How to travel by train from London to Europe . . .BUT NOT GREECE

http://www.seat61.com/Europe-train-travel.htm
Lunch in London... Breakfast in Berlin
There's no need to fly from the UK to anywhere in Europe.  It's surprisingly easy, quick and comfortable to travel overland by train from London to just about anywhere:  Spain, Italy, Greece, Prague, Helsinki, Moscow...  The difficult bit is finding out how to do it and where to buy tickets.  That's where 'Seat 61' comes in!
This website will tell you the best routes, train times & approximate fares from London to major destinations all over Europe.  It will tell you what the trains are like, and the best way to buy your ticket.  Your carriage awaits.  Eurostar links the UK not just with Paris, but with destinations all over Europe.
You can travel from France to mainland Greece in less than 48 hours with great scenery on the way, by sleeper train to Italy then overnight cruise ferry to Greece with comfortable cabin, restaurants and bars onboard.  Sailing across blue seas under even bluer skies past the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia is perhaps the nicest way of all to reach Greece.  A far more rewarding experience than 3 hours strapped to a seat on a plane, and it's practical and affordable, too.  Alternatively, you can travel overland by train all the way, a 3-day adventure by sleeping-car via Munich, Budapest and Bucharest.

HORRIFIC NEWS FOR 2011:  Greece cancels all international  trains connecting it with the rest of Europe...

Greece is to cut itself off from the rest of Europe.  With their economic situation dire, their government has
announced massive rail cuts.

This includes the cancelling from 13 February 2011 until further notice of all
international trains between Greece and Sofia, Belgrade, Bucharest and Istanbul.  Greece will be cut off from the rest of Europe, except by ferry from Italy.  So much for Greece being part of Europe, let alone in the EU!  It will become an island! So the journey, possible for over a century, will no longer be possible from February 2011, until or unless the international trains are reinstated.  We will post more updates as they become available.  The only way to reach Greece from western Europe is now via by ferry from Italy, see above.
It is believed that the international train 'Romania' from Bucharest and Sofia to Greece will terminate at Sofia.  The trains from Belgrade will terminate at Skopje.  Two buses a day link Skopje with Thessaloniki, at around 08:00 and 18:30, taking 4-5 hours.
